The Fall TV Lineup May Include Apple Dominating Gaming


One nit to pick - Cumulative iOS sales numbers are massively misleading and not comparable to console sales numbers. People buy an iPhone 5 to replace iPhone 4 to replace an iPhone 3GS and that’s three iPhone “sales” but really one person in possession of one phone.

Having said that, yes, the most important new thing about the PS4 or next Xbox would have nothing to do with hardware, but the digital games store and rules for devs and publishers. MS and Sony could correct this with current systems if they would wake up to it.
